Make the most of a snowy elopement in the mountains

(***Colors of photos slightly altered due to wordpress) Working with Angelica and Brian on their elopement day was a dream. We had originally planned on meeting at Officer’s Gulch in Frisco, but the weather had other plans making the roads back there hard to navigate, so we made a quick pivot to an easy downtown location for their ceremony. Prior to the ceremony we kicked off the day with a beautiful private first look.

Then, officiated by a close friend, they held their ceremony with close family who had traveled from all over to attend.

We then moved on to a second location for some awesome couples photos. Pivoting from our original plan ended up working out perfectly. Sometimes, weather changes and you need to make quick decisions and I’m so glad we did!

I love getting creative with my couples and when these two suggested skis for their elopement photos I was game. Colorado has unique landscapes and activities so incorporating them into your elopement session can bring so much additional joy to the day. 2025 was a big year for blizzarding photoshoots for me and I can confidently say that the snow adds a beautiful touch to these perfect elopement days.
